April 5, 2010//Lincoln, Neb.//First Ameritas announced today they have added more than 1,300 access points to their dental network, bringing the total network size to more than 9,000 access points.

Members insured under a First Ameritas PPO plan can seek care from any dentist they choose, but may benefit from increased out-of-pocket savings when they visit a dentist on the PPO network.

“This expansion adds value to the PPO products in our portfolio,” said Karen Gustin, senior vice president – group marketing, managed care and national accounts for Ameritas. “Many of our insured members will have more choices when selecting a PPO dentist within a particular area and we’ll have PPO providers in new areas. A larger geographic reach makes our products more attractive to more employers, especially those with multiple locations.”
